BristolJazzLive – help spread the word?

This little site has been running a few months now so end of year seems a good time to take stock,

Most people seem to think it’s a good idea. And weekly visitors are creeping up. So definitely worth carrying on in 2026, I think.

It’d be nice to reach more people, of course. Websites don’t promote themselves, and there isn’t going to be any paid advertising, so word of mouth is the thing.

One of those mouths is mine – I’m that guy who keep thrusting cards with the URL on them on people at gigs. I’ve given out 500, and started on the next batch. When they’re gone, I’ll see whether I’m still meeting people who’ve not seen one (or more than one..).

At the moment, there are usually more than 150 visitors a week. I’d love to see that go over 200, and beyond, in 2026. The small jazz gigs I tend to go to are mostly marginal enterprises, and rarely sell out: so, as the annoying Tesco tag says, every little helps.

If anyone would like any cards to give out, let me know and I’ll pass some on. Also, there are still quite a few referrals from google searches, so if you have a website of any kind, a live link to this site’s URL still helps with search rankings.
